“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” – Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

Freedom isn’t just for personal gainit’s a gift to be used for others. America’s founding values included not only liberty but also justice and service. Similarly, the freedom we have in Christ calls us to servenot out of obligation, but from love.

As believers, we are free from the bondage of sin, but that freedom doesn’t mean doing whatever we want. Instead, it empowers us to love selflessly and serve with joy. Whether we’re helping our neighbor, volunteering at church, or simply offering a kind word, we honor God when we use our freedom to bless others.

Prayer:
God, thank You for the freedom I have through Your Son. Teach me to use it wiselynot for selfishness, but for service. Open my eyes to the needs around me and help me to love others with the same grace You’ve shown me. May my freedom reflect Your heart.
